Clinical Trials

Is your child or a child you know having trouble with:

  • Anxiety
  • Worrying a lot
  • Being afraid

If so, we can help. CAPP is a clinical research facility that provides state-of-the-art, scientifically based assessments and treatments.

We are currently conducting clinical trials that are funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). Participation in our clinical trials gives children access to state-of-the-art assessment and treatment while contributing to science at the same time. Current studies are looking at whether different types of participation by a parent in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) has a positive effect on child outcomes or makes no difference and how a computer-administered attention bias modification (ABM) treatment may lead to reductions in children's anxiety and fear.

Families receive compensation for participating. Our services are offered in both English and Spanish.
